In this painting by Therp Sajik that is untitled I will refer to it to the name I thought of once I spotted it, “The Pigment Pirate Ship”. The moment I laid eyes on this painting I totally fell in love with it! It is a picture that is so extraordinary and different that it makes you wonder who is really looking at it, and are these the color moods they are feeling? Not only did it catch my eye but it’s an enjoyable painting to view over and over again. The mood that sets the painting is the sky, and water as if it was almost dusk or sunset, and the boat just drifting along with the current. I think the view would be very different for someone who was either color blind or isn’t wearing their glasses just because the color blind person wouldn’t see the vivid detail and the mixture of color that makes this painting a work of art, and the person that isn’t wearing glasses would look at a regular painting if a clear one was right next to it, and problely see what we are looking at. This painting gives a feeling of freedom, and diverisity and it gives off the vibes of anyone who would look at it would feel comfortable and feel lost at sea.
